The 9mm diameter, 28mm high octagonal shackle is made from Tough-Cut (TM) tungsten carbide treated boron alloy, 50% stronger than case-hardened steel, providing maximum cutting strength and sawing. The ball lock provides better resistance to leverage and picking. The hinged wheel protection cap and gasket provide better weather protection and the reinforced protective strip provides better protection against scratches. The padlock incorporates a programmable combination locking system that does not require a reset tool.
